Our powerboat familiarisation days are the perfect way to experience the stunning coastline of the Llŷn Peninsula from the water. Skippered by one of our RYA-qualified instructors, these days are designed to give you and your group a genuine taste of life on a powerboat in a safe, relaxed, and completely flexible environment. Whether you want to swim off a secluded island, paddleboard in a sheltered bay, or simply sit back and take in some of the most breathtaking scenery in Wales, we will make it happen.
We offer two boats, depending on the size of your group and how far you want to go. Our Zodiac 6.5m RIB is ideal for smaller groups looking to explore the local bays and islands close to home, while our Saxdor 320 GTC is the ultimate on-water experience for those who want to venture further afield and make a real day of it.

Explore the local coastline
Perfect for a family or group of friends who want to discover the beautiful bays and islands right on our doorstep. Your RYA instructor will skipper the boat throughout, leaving you free to sit back, explore, and enjoy. Bring a picnic, take a dip at Saint Tudwal's Islands, watch the seals, paddleboard at Half Tide Rock, or simply cruise the stunning coastline around Pwllheli and Abersoch at your own pace. It is your day, so anything is possible within reason.
Flexible pickup is available from Abersoch beach, The Warren beach, or join us directly at Pwllheli Marina.
Single Mercury 150hp engine. Maximum 4 people.

Saxdor 320 GTC
The Long Range Option
For those who want to make a proper day of it, the Saxdor 320 GTC is the finest way to experience the Llŷn Peninsula from the water. With twin Mercury 225hp engines and room for up to six, this is a serious boat capable of taking you well beyond the local bays. Spend the morning exploring the coastline, head further afield to spot the seals at Bardsey Island, or pull into the legendary Ty Coch Inn at Porthdinllaen for a well-earned drink on the beach. Weather permitting, of course. Bring a picnic, take a swim, and let us take care of the rest. Join us at Pwllheli Marina. Transport from Abersoch can be arranged at a small additional cost.
